We all miss Bruce, even though most of us never met him.
Rare group photo with GM Yip Man and early students (circa 1951). Students all wearing “詠春” t-shirts + uniforms. One can see Leung Sheung, Lok Yiu, Tsui Sheung Tin, Lee Man & others. These are all the seniors to Bruce Lee in the Wing Tsun/Wing Chun family.

Sifu James DeMile was one of Bruce Lee’s first batch of students in Seattle. Our own Sifu Alex Richter once fought (and defeated) a Jiu Jitsu fighter at a tournament held at Sifu DeMile’s school. After the fight, Sifu DeMile chatted with the then 18-year old Alex and told him all sorts of wonderful stories and insider info about his time with Bruce Lee. A highlight in the young Sifu Alex’s career.
